The Karool should not be used for what it has below its surface for commercial profit and greed,by Shell. It is apart of South Africa,is so beautiful and serene, its landscape and hills and its transquility its peace and stillness, were only the echo of the kraanse antwoord gee

What a magnificent article that shows so vividly and powerfully something of the passionate adoration and love that South Africans have for the Karoo - and how committed we must be to defend it from those whose singular purpose is to aggrandise themselves while destroying exquisitely precious and beautiful parts of this God-given Earth.

What about a brilliant bright bumper sticker . . . like: Tell Shell to go to Hell.
